About the Author
Mark Thiele spent 13 years from 1985 to 1998 advising private clients, fund managers, banks and corporates in futures, commodities and foreign exchange markets. In the 11 years since then he has been refining his analysis methods as a researcher. His viewpoints have always contained a bias towards technical analysis of markets. He holds a Bachelor of Commerce degree from The University of Canterbury and a Diploma in Freelance Journalism. Since 1998 he has studied the markets using charting methods and come back to the basics of charting method as espoused by Edwards and Magee in their classic volume “Technical Analysis of Stock Trends”.
